Imani Jones is an artist with a research based process, working in the mediums of painting and drawing. She aims to investigate the craft of drawing and painting using themes of existentialism, womanhood, history, religion, identity and alchemy. Born in the upstate inner city of Poughkeepsie, NY, she has earned her BFA in Painting from Maine College of Art and Design.
